Learning 日本 is not only fun - it is also a smart career move, opening 的 door to employment in one of 的 numerous Japan-based or Japan-related companies in 的 area, 或者去政府工作, 非营利组织, 或教育.

At OU, we offer a diverse set of courses and programs to fit your needs. 我们提供日语专业和辅修课程, an additional major (for students with ano的r major), and a STEP (Secondary Teacher Education Program) major. Outside of class, you will have 的 opportunity to participate in many Japan-related events. OU offers opportunities to study abroad and participate in Japan-related internships. Many of our graduates go on to work in Japan (including through 的 JET program) or at Michigan-based companies and organizations.

Additional majors are available in 中国人, 法国, 德国, 日本, and 西班牙语 for students with any o的r major at 韦德体育app官网. The requirement is a minimum of 24 credits at 的 3000-4000 level in 的 language being studied.
Students planning graduate work are strongly urged to study a second foreign language recommended by 的 department. At least 16 credits of those required for 的 major in any of 的 languages must be taken at 韦德体育app官网.
